"The only Bush I trust is my own" [Nov. 4th, 2004|09:11 am]

I was as dissapointed as anyone else that Bush won this election. I live in Texas, and for some reason (HAHAHAHAHAHA!) I thought that my vote for Kerry mattered in this great big ol' honkin' Honky state of ours. I was disgusted in class all day Wednesday to hear people ululate "Bush won! Alright, we're gonna live!" As if our country was in good hands. And THEN, I had to listen to UltraLiberal Man guy in my singers class bitch about it. Yes, UltraLiberal. There are unwanted extremes to everything. I was thankfully able to shut him up after two sentences.

One girl asked someone if they voted for Kerry, and he said "Yeah" And then another girl said happily "Yeah, but he lost, and Bush won" As if she were taunting the guy. This is where UltraLiberal Man (You Alvinites know him as Guitar Guy and Weather Wizard. I call him Dickface.) came in. "He didn't win" You know when someone's in denile, yet they know they're wrong and they look really upset when they say something they know isn't true? That was the look on Dickface's .. er ... face. So I told him "Yeah, dude. He did." "No he didn't. He stole the election." "Shut up, Dickface. No one wants to hear it from you." And ... HE DID!! He shut up! Amazing!

Don't get me wrong. I'm not happy that Bush won. And I'll bitch here to my fingers' content. But NO ONE wants to listen to Dickface talk about ANYTHING.

What I want to know is what the Hell happened to Florida? Other than Jebb Bush being Governer. I mean, in 2000, they voted for Gore. Gore WON the popular vote in Florida. It's because of the Supreme court ending the recounts that gave Florida's electoral votes to Bush. And they overwhelmingly voted for Bush this year. *sigh*

I suppose that's my first rant. I guess I'd just feel safer with Herman Munster at the helm than the Monkey.

Ah hart choo tooo! Did you get my message the other day?

As for Dickface's liberal/conservative...ness, he seems to be both in different areas. Politically, he's way liberal. Religeously, he's a a Fundamentalist ultraconservative Christian. I know you hear about it a lot, but he ACTUALLY tried to convince me once that the Earth was only about 4,000 years old. *shrug*

and, like, wasn't he a pagan too, at one point? yeah, because demons gave him power to change the weather, thaaat's right.

and no, i didn't get your message. was it an email or a phone message or...? skywriting?

Re: a couple nuts short of a conspiracy theory

Ahh, gotcha. I sent it to vespera@msn.com. Well it was pretty much just a "let's catch up" email is all. So, let's. There's a place in Alvin called Fat Daddy's. Not much for it's restaurant half, but excellent in the coffee house half.

Re: a couple nuts short of a conspiracy theory

I know that this weekend, I'm free all day Sunday, but I'm probably going to spend most of that day doing homework. I won't get next week's schedule until tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I'll be working Monday, Thursday and Saturday, though. I'll let you know for sure. ^.^
